Chicken Rice is a unique iconic Singaporean dish. The dish was originally from Hainan, where the traditional Hainanese Chicken Rice was made with chicken and pork bone broth, accompanied with rice and green chili dip.
Unlike the Hainanese Chicken Rice, the true Singapore Chicken Rice is made with succulent steamed white chicken, cut into bite-size pieces and served on fragrant rice. It is often drizzled over with light soy sauce and sesame oil, topped with sprigs of coriander leaf, and accompanied by a delicious garlic-chili dip.
The Chicken Rice Company takes a lot of pride and passion in perfecting our Chicken Rice. We control all factors from the beginning: The breeding and cultivation of chickens, and then we follow each production step until the careful culinary preparation in the kitchen.
To ensure that we deliver a plate of delicious chicken rice that will delight even the most health conscious, we worked hard for more than a year to develop the right chicken size suited for the Chicken Rice Company. We also use special stress-free and happy chickens that have been cultivated with natural healthy feed in a climate controlled environment. This means no growth hormones were used to enhance taste or size.
